It took whole month since I planed it… but It came out so GOOD!!

International Salon & Spa Expo (ISSE) 2012 Long Beach were
Great stimulation!!

As an every year, I taught haircut class with Hiroshi Kitamura at the hands on class.
It was a great time with many hair stylist from all over the World!!

Let’s built Photo/Video Studio project Day 2 report

The Last post at this site,
I reported project that I’m working on.
This project is to transform storage
to the “Photo/Video studio“
which owned by my hair stylist friend.

This is another report of project “DAY2″

Day1, finished sub-floor… and Day2 is Electric!!

after Electric done, We going to frame walls to stand strong so
I cut wood again & again… I love cut!! not only hair!!

Bad Ass!!

Go to “Home Depot” to buy wall & floor materials…

during time contractor shopping what he needs,
I check back splash tiles and laminate hard wood for my own project…

Cork is great texture!(On the left) Stripe Wood grain is also cool (In the middle)

YES! That’s what I do everyday!!

Electric is done!! Day 3 will be Wall!!

Taka the Interior Designer? Built photo studio project start!!

I am a professional hair stylist and I make living with it.
I also do so many things as mostly hobby level but serious enough.
Painting, Photography, Skateboarding, Video Shooting/Editing…

One of them are “Interior Design“.
I watch so many Interior design TV shows. I design rooms by illustrator.

Of cause I never study at school or anything but
design hair & design rooms has some similarity like
color coordination, color contrast, and balance.

after many design I did on paper & illustrator file,
some how couple interesting projects offered to me.

One of my hair stylist friend’s house back yard storage,
He wants to transform it to “Photo/Video studio”.

Sub-floor is beat up so bad. We need to do from GROUND!!

Buy Plywood…

Contractor Hugo checking wood…

Cutting wood with Saw!! I did it too!! and it was so much FUN!!

Removed sub-floor. Beam is good. We put cross beam.

Sub-floor done!!

DAY1 is over. Next week, DAY2. Wall & Electric!! Exciting!!

First weekend of June which June 4, 5, 6,
I will be in Florida for Teaching Haircut class in the Premiere International Beauty Event.

I will teach with Hiroshi Kitamura. More info about his class from HERE.

I will be out of salon from June 3rd evening till June 6th.
I will be back in salon June 7th Tuesday.

I’m very exciting to see East coast Hair stylists and having fun class!!

I deeply sorry for so many… too many loss from this disaster…
